This 1000 acre lake is located 25 miles north of the Mackinac Bridge between trout
lake and Moran. It's 80% federally owned and fairly shallow with some depths up
to 18 ft. There is good fishing with many varieties being caught including largemouth
bass, Perch, & northern pike. There is great snowmobiling and hiking nearby
with thousands of acres of Federal land in the area.
