Legion Memorial Park-across
from the Post Office in downtown St. Ignace-a memorial to the
veterans of foreign war and a tribute to our downtown
waterfront. Benches and a covered pavilion.
Kiwanis Beach-
downtown St. Ignace across from the Chamber of Commerce
Gazebo, community brick paths, beach & picnic area,

Father Marquette Park
and Ojibway Museum-located just off the boardwalk in downtown
St. Ignace, this historic park features a fountain with a
statue of Father Marquette and museum building with incredible
artifacts and history of the area. An outside workshop
will often feature artisans working on a project.

Dock 3 Park-off
Ferry Lane by the Coast Guard Station
features playground equipment, covered pavilion, horseshoe
pits, picnic tables and grills, public boat launch, new
lighted pier. Great waterfront park across from the
island.
Mackinac Bridge Park-Northwest
side of the bridge-Watch the Freighters pass through the
Mackinac Bridge. Nice park area with benches, walkways,
picnic area and restrooms. The building hosts a nice
historical display of the story of the Straits of Mackinac and
the ships that pass through
 Father
Marquette National Memorial Site-also known as the New
France Discovery Center is located just north of the Bridge
Park, there are walkways, nature trails, picnic area,
bathrooms, pavilion area (great for weddings), outside auditor am
used by State park for educational series and talks. The
site once hosted a museum which featured the history of the
area. Destroyed by fire in the 90's, the state has not
rebuilt or replaced the building or artifacts.
