Schoolhouse Cabin is a year-round vacation rental, tucked in a wooded setting in the village of Brevort.  Just a little over a half mile to U.S. #2 and the town area, it is located right on the main route to the snowmobile and atv trail systems.  Bring your bike, boat, jet ski, snowmobile or 4 wheeler, there is plenty of parking and it's direct access to the trails.

This is a great recreation area, close to Lake Michigan, Little and Big Brevort Lakes and thousands of acres of public State and Federal forests. Great berry picking area with tons of hiking trails.    Historic St. Ignace is just a 22 minute drive east along one of the most scenic drives in America, along the famous Lake Michigan sand dunes area.  Great swimming beaches are minutes away.  Drive into nearby St. Ignace for Saturday night fireworks all summer long and many festivals and events.  Cut River Bridge is five minutes away too. Various festivals are held throughout the year and during the summer, free concerts are downtown St. Ignace on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the city marina and Dock#2 area.

 Other areas of interest and day trips are Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, Cedarville, Hessel and the Les Cheneaux Islands, Naubinway, Sault Ste. Marie and so many more places.  Experience the Great Waters, Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, area lakes, hiking and ski trails.  So many things to do. Launch your boat at the nearby boat launch and spend the day fishing or cruising the Straits of Mackinac or head out to Brevort Lake for a day of fishing and lounging.  The Lake Michigan Sand Dunes and #1 swimming each is just a 5 minutes drive on U.S. #2

There is parking for an RV or boat.

This home has a full and equipped kitchen, microwave, TV and video library

Main level bedroom has a full bed and a twin bed with room for another twin bed.

Loft bedroom has king size bed and pull out couch

Charcoal grill.  All linens provided.

Directions:  Traveling north or south, take U.S. #2 , approximately 20 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge, turn right (north) on Schoolhouse Rd. and follow to Stop sign (Worth Rd.) follow through intersection and look for cabin. 

20 minutes to Mackinac Bridge, 25 to  Mackinaw City, 15 min. to Garlyn Zoo,  70 min. to the Soo Boat Locks,  40 minutes to the Pellston Regional Airport,  and many attractions within an hour or two.

Trails are directly from our rental property. For a unique experience, snowmobile the Cut River area, St. Ignace, Curtis, Newberry  or follow the trails to the frozen beauty of Tahquamenon Falls, and many other areas to numerous to mention.
